South Pars Gas Field Development Project – Phase 14

The South Pars Gas Field Development Project – Phase 14 represents one of Iran’s most significant investments in natural gas production and export capacity. The project is managed by a major consortium, including IDRO, IOEC, IPMI, ISOICO, MAPNA Group, MSA, NIDC, and Payandan Co, under contract and award by the Pars Oil and Gas Company (POGC).

While the offshore facilities and platform operations for Phase 14 are being executed by a specialized Offshore Consultant, the comprehensive onshore engineering scope is managed by Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers. Contracted by IPMI, Tehran Raymand is responsible for delivering detailed engineering design and engineering procurement services for the advanced gas and condensate treating processes in the Phase 14 onshore complex.

Project Capacity and Output

  • Total Processing Capacity: The Phase 14 onshore facilities are engineered to process up to 2,000 MMSCFD (million standard cubic feet per day) of reservoir fluid from the South Pars gas field.
  • Product Output:
    • High-purity sales gas for the Iranian energy market
    • Ethane cut of petrochemical feedstock quality for industrial use
    • Commercial-grade propane and butane for export
    • Stabilized condensate for domestic and export markets
  • Feed Source: The onshore complex receives reservoir fluid delivered via two dedicated multiphase pipelines from the offshore platforms, enabling continuous and efficient operation.

Tehran Raymand’s Engineering Scope

Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers is tasked with the detailed engineering design and procurement for a wide range of critical processing and utility units. These units are essential for the safe, efficient, and reliable operation of the Phase 14 gas and condensate treating facilities.
