This project focuses on upgrading and modifying existing full containment storage tanks to enable the safe and efficient storage of refrigerated propane, butane, and LNG for subsequent export through a dedicated plant jetty. The facility is strategically designed to utilize previously constructed containment tanks, ensuring optimal storage and handling of key hydrocarbon products prior to export.
In the current project phase, process trains have not been constructed, so refrigerated feedstock (propane and butane) is delivered directly to the battery limit from upstream sources. The facility’s tank farm includes:
The primary objective of this project is to complete the detailed engineering design, procurement, and construction for all systems and components needed to adapt and upgrade the storage tanks and associated infrastructure for new operational requirements. The scope includes:
All project activities are executed according to international standards for storage, safety, and environmental performance, supporting reliable export of refrigerated hydrocarbons from the facility.
The engineering, procurement, and construction phases for the tank modification and export storage project are scheduled from December 2022 to June 2024, ensuring a timely and coordinated project delivery.
