The Heavy Fuel Oil Supply System Project is a large-scale energy infrastructure development focused on the safe and reliable storage, distribution, and management of heavy fuel oil. This project features the comprehensive design and integration of two major Heavy Fuel Oil Storage Facilities, each equipped with advanced systems to support efficient fuel handling and delivery operations.
The system consists of two dedicated tank farms with substantial storage capacities—one at 230,000 cubic meters and the other at 140,000 cubic meters. These facilities are engineered to meet the growing demand for heavy fuel oil in power generation, industrial, and export applications, supporting both domestic consumption and international energy trade.
Project Components and Infrastructure
- Storage Tank Farms: The two main tank farms provide secure, high-capacity storage for heavy fuel oil, enabling flexible supply management and rapid response to changing energy demands.
- Pumping Station: A robust pumping station ensures efficient transfer of fuel oil from storage tanks to the distribution network, supporting continuous supply and export operations.
- Distribution Pipeline: The project incorporates 110 kilometers of high-integrity pipeline to transport heavy fuel oil from the tank farms to end users or export terminals, minimizing losses and maximizing operational reliability.

Auxiliary Facilities and Units: Essential support systems are included to ensure safe, efficient, and environmentally compliant operations. Key facilities and units consist of:
- Steam Generation Unit: Provides process steam for heating and operational needs.
- Plant Air System: Supplies compressed air for instrumentation, controls, and plant operations.
- Firefighting System: Advanced safety infrastructure designed to protect personnel, equipment, and the environment.
- Administration Building: Centralized office and management space for operations, safety, and logistics personnel.
- Additional Utilities: Supporting systems such as water supply, electrical distribution, and control rooms.
