AHWAZ 2,3,5

National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC), has decided to fulfill an EPC project for all of the petroleum production units, Desalting plants and Gas Compressor Stations in National Iranian South Oil Company (Ahwaz Oil Field). This project is consists of:

  • Constructing three manifolds near the Ahwaz Production Units No. 2, 3 and 5. (16 x 6″, 25 x 6”, 10 x 6”). The inlet crude oil comes from Ahwaz reservoir wells and it will be sent to the existing header.
  • Constructing waste water treatment inside the Ahwaz Desalting Plant No. 3 and also connecting piping and installing instruments on the body-existing coalescer and surge tank. The waste water from skimmer tank will come to the 8 pumps and pumped to the 4 new IGF packages. Then this water will be directed to the three new nutshell filters. The disposal tank is existing, but three new injection pumps will be installed near the existing pumps.
  • Repairing and installing of Ruston TB-4000 Turbine.
  • Purchasing and installing of Ruston TB-5000 Turbine.
  • Modification, Purchasing and installing of the following items:
    • Purchasing and installing of 16 air compressors (Each Capacity: 150CFM) and 8 air dryers (Each Capacity: 300 CFM) in Ahwaz Production Units No. 1, 2, 3 and 4 (4 air compressors and 2 air dryers in each unit).
    • Purchasing of two diesel portable reciprocating injection pumps for using in the Desalting plants of Ahwaz 1 and 3.
    • Purchasing and installing of one waste water injection pump for using in Ahwaz Desalting Unit No. 1. It will pressurize the waste water (DP: 1750 PSI) to the well.
    • Purchasing and installing of two tube bundles for using in Ahwaz Production Unit No. 2.
    • Control system optimizing of waste water injection pump in Ahwaz Desalting Unit No. 1.
    • Control system optimization of 14 filtration systems in Production Units No. 1, 2 and 3.
    • Purchasing and installing of two pre-pressurizing pumps (DP: 57 PSI) to pump waste water to injection pumps.
    • Replacement of 10 filtration systems in Ahwaz Gas Compressor Stations No. 1, 3, 4 and 5.
    • Branching out between Ahwaz 5 and Ahwaz 2.
  • Office Building Facilities
  • Purchasing and installing of Well head facilities for 30 wells
  • Purchasing and installing of Crude oil flow lines (25 flow lines)
  • Constructing of access roads for new wells
  • Purchasing and installing of 3 ESP.

TRCE has been selected as the engineering consultant for AHW-235 oil filed development.
