Ahwaz 2,3,5
The National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) has initiated an EPC project encompassing all petroleum production units, desalting plants, and gas compressor stations at the Ahwaz Oil Field. This project includes the following tasks:
Construction of Manifolds:
- Near Ahwaz Production Units No. 2, 3, and 5 (16 x 6″, 25 x 6”, 10 x 6”).
- Directing incoming crude oil from Ahwaz reservoir wells to the existing header.
Wastewater Treatment Facilities:
- Inside Ahwaz Desalting Plant No. 3.
- Connecting piping and instrument installation on the existing coalescer and surge tank.
- Pumping wastewater from the skimmer tank using 8 new pumps to 4 new IGF packages, then directing it to three new nutshell filters.
- Installing three new injection pumps alongside the existing pumps at the pre-existing disposal tank.
Repair and Installation:
- Repairing and installing the Ruston TB-4000 Turbine.
- Purchasing and installing the Ruston TB-5000 Turbine.
Modification, Purchase, and Installation:
- 16 air compressors (Each Capacity: 150 CFM) and 8 air dryers (Each Capacity: 300 CFM) in Ahwaz Production Units No. 1, 2, 3, and 4 (4 air compressors and 2 air dryers in each unit).
- Two diesel portable reciprocating injection pumps for use in the Desalting plants of Ahwaz 1 and 3.
- One wastewater injection pump for use in Ahwaz Desalting Unit No. 1 to pressurize the wastewater (DP: 1750 PSI) to the well.
- Two tube bundles for use in Ahwaz Production Unit No. 2.
- Control system optimization of the wastewater injection pump in Ahwaz Desalting Unit No. 1.
- Control system optimization of 14 filtration systems in Production Units No. 1, 2, and 3.
- Two pre-pressurizing pumps (DP: 57 PSI) to pump wastewater to injection pumps.
- Replacement of 10 filtration systems in Ahwaz Gas Compressor Stations No. 1, 3, 4, and 5.
- Branching out between Ahwaz 5 and Ahwaz 2.
Additional Infrastructure:
- Office Building Facilities.
- Purchase and installation of wellhead facilities for 30 wells.
- Purchase and installation of 25 crude oil flow lines.
- Construction of access roads for new wells.
- Purchase and installation of 3 ESP (Electric Submersible Pumps).
TRCE has been selected as the engineering consultant for the AHW-235 oil field development.
Contract Time Period: February 2021 to February 2023.
