South Gashu gas-field, which is located 70 km west of port city of Bandar Abbas, comprises of two producing reservoirs “Khami” and “Sarvak”, out of which Khami formation is the main contributor to the overall production. The recent reservoir study of the South Gashu gas field predicts a normal gas production of 500 MMSCFD form 20 wells.
Considering the expected production, the field will be developed and reservoir fluids are delivered via a network of flowlines and pipeline gathering systems to a processing plant, where the full processing will be performed in two trains. Utilities, off sites, and infrastructures, required in the development are established adjacent to the upstream and refinery process units to support operation.
To develop South Gashu gas field for gas processing and transportation to Iran Gas Trunk line – 7 (IGAT – 7), stabilized condensate to export, and commercial sulfur for export; Iranian Central oil Fields Company (ICOFC) has awarded the contract to Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers for the Conceptual Design, Basic Engineering and Front – End Engineering Design (FEED) of “upstream facilities”, “gas – processing plant”, and “off – plots”.
