Tange-Bijar & Kamankouh gas field is located in Zagros Mountains in west of Iran, 125 Km from Kermanshah, 60 Km from Ilam. This field is in production stage to supply required gas for some parts of western provinces of Iran. The produced gas from this field is sour and consists of high percentage of CO2 and H2S and also the formation water includes high amount of CL- ions. Tange-Bijar gas field has been developed in a wide area of Zagros highlands, which the distance of production wells are about 15 Km.
The main units of this project are listed here:
- Phase 1 production from wells No. 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11
- Tang-e-Bijar Central Facility (TCF) with slug catcher for gas, condensate and water separation
- 18-inch gas transmission pipeline from TCF to ISF facilities (40 Km distance)
- Three phase separator for condensate-water separation
- 6-inch condensate pipeline with transfer pump from TCF to ISF facilities
- Slug catcher at ISF facilities for liquid separation
- Gas delivery to Ilam refinery
- Flow lines from wells to TCF
- Gas/condensate transmission pipelines from TCF to ISF
- ISF facilities with operating capacity of 7 MMSCMD produced gas
- Future re-study and expansion to 10 MMSCMD with 3 additional wells
- Preparation of Basic Engineering Package for next project phase
