A) NGL-2300 (Ahwaz)

The purpose of the NGL-2300 plant is to maximize the recovery of C2+ components. The feed gas for this plant is sourced from:

  • Separated gas from the 1st stage of the Maroon-Khami plant: 156 MMSCFD
  • Gas condensate stabilization units of the Maroon-Khami plant: 18 MMSCFD
  • Produced gas from the Maroon-5 production unit: 82 MMSCFD

The recovered C2+ condensates from this plant are transferred to the CFU-200 separation unit in Mahshahr, while the produced sweet gas is injected into the Maroon oil field. This plant comprises the following units:

  • Low-pressure gas compression unit
  • Gas sweetening unit
  • Gas dehydration unit
  • Acid gas compression unit
  • C2+ recovery unit
  • C2+ purification unit
  • Utilities
  • Pipelines for C2+ condensates, sweet gas, and acid gas

B) CFU-200 C2+ Separation Plant (Bandar Maah-Shahr)

The CFU-200 plant gathers C2+ components from NGL 2300 (mentioned above), NGL 1700, 1900, and 2000. In this plant, ethane, propane, butane, and C5+ components are recovered, stored, and transferred. This plant includes the following units:

  • De-ethanizer
  • De-propanizer
  • De-butanizer
  • Storage tanks for propane, butane, and C5+
  • Transfer pumps
  • Utilities
