Project Description
South Gashu Gas Field Development
The South Gashu gas field, located 70 km west of the port city of Bandar Abbas, comprises two producing reservoirs: “Khami” and “Sarvak,” with the Khami formation being the primary contributor to overall production. Recent reservoir studies predict a normal gas production of 500 MMSCFD from 20 wells.
Project Objective
The field will be developed to handle this production, with reservoir fluids transported via a network of flowlines and pipeline gathering systems to a processing plant. The processing will occur in two trains, with utilities, offsites, and necessary infrastructure established adjacent to the upstream and refinery process units.
The Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC) has awarded the contract to Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers for the Conceptual Design, Basic Engineering, and Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) of the upstream facilities, gas-processing plant, and off-plots. The goal is to process and transport gas to the Iran Gas Trunk Line – 7 (IGAT – 7) and export stabilized condensate and commercial sulfur.
