The Petroleum Engineering Development Company, a subsidiary of the Iranian Ministry of Petroleum, has awarded the West Karoun Area NGL 3200 project to SADAF company under an EPCF (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Financing) contract.
Purpose:
- To receive 500 MMSCFD of sour gas from the West Karoun oil field, which includes Darquain, Yadavaran, Jofeir, Bande Karkhe, South Azadegan, and North Azadegan.
- To process and produce:
- C2+ NGL cuts
- Lean Gas
- Sulfur
Engineering Services for Unit 760 (Cooling System)
Tehran Raymand (TR) has been awarded the engineering services for unit 760 (Cooling System). This unit is designed to provide 550 m³/h of cooling water to unit 600.
Cooling System Details:
- Refrigerant: Used to chill the cooling water and provide chilling duty to the following users:
- AGEU Acid Gas Chiller (E-600-105): 0.485 MW x 1.1
- AGEU Acid Gas Chiller (E-600-205): 0.485 MW x 1.1
- AGEU Lean Amine Chiller (E-600-010): 3.333 MW x 1.1
- Quench Water Chiller (E-600-003): 1.475 MW x 1.1
Design Specifications:
- Total Design Heat Load: 5.778 x 1.1 MW
- Turn-Down Ratio: 20% of normal capacity
- Compressor Type: Screw compressors
