Project Description
Supplying feed from Flared Gas Streams to Persian Gulf Bid Boland Refinery, Basic Design & FEED Preparation
Client
Persian Gulf Bidboland Gas Treating (PGBGT)
Owner
National Iranian South Oilfields Company (NISOC)
Location
Bibi-Hakimeh, Bushehr Province, Iran
The Persian Gulf Bid Boland Gas Refinery is currently designed to receive 2000 MMSCFD of feed gas, including:
- 1700 MMSCFD of sour gas from NGLs 900 & 1000
- 300 MMSCFD of sweet gas from NGLs 1200 & 1300
Due to the dependency of feed availability on projects defined upstream of NGLs 900 & 1000 and the gathering of associated gas streams upstream of NGLs 1200, 1300 & 1500, the CLIENT intends to perform Basic Design & FEED on these areas. The project’s goal is to ensure the gathering and treatment of existing flared gas streams and transfer them to the Persian Gulf Bid Boland Gas Refinery.
Project Scope
The project can be divided into two main categories of study:
1. Handling Produced Associated Gas:
- Fields Involved:
- Aghajari
- Ramshir
- RagSefid-1
- Sour Marun Asmari (Marun-3 & Marun-5)
- Pazanan-1
- Gas Quantity: Exceeds 400 MMSCFD
- Current Issue: Majority of gas is flared due to the lack of a gas gathering and transmission system or the deterioration of existing facilities.
2. Developing Gas Gathering and Transmission Systems:
- Fields Involved:
- Gachsaran
- Bibihamikeh
- Karanj
- Paranj
- Parsi
- RagSefid-2
- Existing facilities in RagSefid-1
- Current Status: Gas gathering systems are in service and can remain operational for additional years with the implementation of defined repair and improvement projects.
Project Objectives
- Gather and treat existing flared gas streams.
- Transfer treated gas to the Persian Gulf Bid Boland Gas Refinery.
This project aims to enhance the utilization of associated gas, reduce flaring, and improve the overall efficiency of gas gathering and transmission systems.
