Project Description
Azar & Changoleh Oil Fields Development Project
The Petroleum Engineering and Development Company (PEDEC) has planned the Azar & Changuleh Oil Fields Development Project to produce crude oil from these two fields, located near the international border with Iraq.
Changuleh Field
Project Overview:
- Scope: Establish minimal facilities and develop existing separators for early production of heavy crude.
- Initial Production Target: Achieve 15,000 barrels of oil per day (BOPD) from two existing and two new wells.
- Final Production Target: Achieve a daily production rate of 75,000 BOPD.
- Oil Transport: Transport produced oil to Dehloran Oil Facilities via a pump station and a 127 km, 20-inch export pipeline.
Facilities at Changuleh Field:
- Wellhead Facilities
- 8-inch Flow Lines
- 3 Phase Separator
- Storage Tank
- Crude Oil Pump Station
- Export Pipeline
- Pig Traps
- Flare and Burn Pit Package
