The PSA has been contracted by the National Iranian Oil Company (NIOC) to conduct the EPCC for South Pars Phases 13-22/23&24 project. This project includes offshore facilities, platform and undersea pipelines, and Onshore Facilities for the processing of the reservoir fluid.
Sazeh-Nargan Consultants has been contracted by the PSA, whom conducted the Basic Engineering and FEED for the onshore facilities. The South Pars Phases 13-22/23&24 Project Offshore Scope of Work is being carried out by another Offshore Consultant.
Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers has been contracted by Sazeh Consultant to perform the FEED and Detail Design of many Onshore facilities units of South Pars Phases 13-22/23&24.
The total capacity of the South Pars phases 22/23&24 onshore facilities is 2000 MMSCFD of reservoir Fluid, which include all processing units, utilities, off sites and infrastructure necessary to produce sales gas and stabilized condensate form the reservoir Fluid delivered to the onshore plant via two multiphase sea lines. Tang-e-Bijar & Kamankouh gas field is located in Zagros Mountains in west of Iran, 125 Km from Kermanshah, 60 Km from Ilam. This field is in production stage to supply required gas for some parts of western provinces of Iran. The produced gas from this field is sour and consists of high percentage of CO2 and H2S and also the formation water includes high amount of CL- ions. Tang-e-Bijar gas field has been developed in a wide area of Zagros highlands, which the distance of production wells are about 15 Km.
In phase 1 of Tang-e-Bijar gas field production, produced gas from 5 wells (well No. 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11), is entered to Tang-e-Bijar Central Facility (TCF) to separate gas, gas condensate and water in a slug catcher, separated gas is transferred to ISF facilities via a 18-inch pipeline. ISF facilities is located 40 Km away from TCF. Separated gas condensate in slug catcher is sent to a three phase separator in order to separate remaining water. Produced gas condensate from three phase separator is pumped to ISF facilities by a transfer pump and via a 6-inch pipeline.
In order to separate probable associated liquid, submitted gas from TCF is entered to a slug catcher in ISF facilities. Gas from slug catcher is delivered to Ilam refinery. Due to recent accidents and explosions at TCF, the intend of this project is to study, evaluate, trouble shoot and introduce solutions to the current situation in flow lines from wells to TCF, TCF facilities, gas transmission pipeline from TCF to ISF and ISF facilities with the normal operating capacity of 7 MMSCMD produced gas in ISF battery limit. With consideration of 3 additional production wells and increasing capacity to 10 MMSCMD of produced gas, the flow lines from wells to TCF, TCF facilities, gas/condensate transmission pipelines from TCF to ISF and ISF facilities will be re-studied and a basic engineering package will be provided in the next phase of the project.

Worley Parson Pty Ltd has been contracted by the IDRO/OIEC Consortium, whom conducted the Basic Engineering and FEED for the onshore facilities.
The South Pars Phases 17&18 Project Offshore Scope of Work is being carried out by another Offshore Consultant. Worley Parsons shall identify and coordinate deliverables to manage the physical interfaces between the Onshore and Offshore Design Consultants.

South Gashu gas-field, which is located 70 km west of port city of Bandar Abbas, comprises of two producing reservoirs "Khami" and "Sarvak", out of which Khami formation is the main contributor to the overall production. The recent reservoir study of the South Gashu gas field predicts a normal gas production of 500 MMSCFD form 20 wells.
Considering the expected production, the field will be developed and reservoir fluids are delivered via a network of flowlines and pipeline gathering systems to a processing plant, where the full processing will be performed in two trains. Utilities, off sites, and infrastructures, required in the development are established adjacent to the upstream and refinery process units to support operation.
To develop South Gashu gas field for gas processing and transportation to Iran Gas Trunk line – 7 (IGAT – 7), stabilized condensate to export, and commercial sulfur for export; Iranian Central oil Fields Company (ICOFC) has awarded the contract to Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers for the Conceptual Design, Basic Engineering and Front – End Engineering Design (FEED) of ”upstream facilities”, “gas – processing plant”, and “off – plots”

In pursuance of the NIGC’ goal of making an effective contribution to the development of the Iranian oil & gas industry and alleviation of any operational difficulties, their Research/Development/Technology Department has recently started to establish gas processing technologies (i.e. gas sweetening process). Considering this and in accordance with the excellent reputation of the Research Institute of Petroleum Industry (RIPI) in providing the engineering solutions to the oil and gas industries through a combination of research and development in process simulation with state of the art computerized engineering technology, NIGC and RIPI has signed a contract for preparing FEED package and EPC tender document of gas sweetening pilot plant, which will be designed and installed in South Pars Gas Field, located in Southwest of Iran.
In light of the above and in order to provide executive companies with flexible, accurate, and efficient technologies, which improve their bottom line, NIGC has invited Tehran Raymand Consulting Engineers to review the relevant process technology effort and engineering concepts for ensuring proper execution of the above-mentioned project and acquisition of aimed knowledge and skills.

Lab Sefid Gas Gathering and Injection Project has been planned by National Iranian South Oil Company (INSOC) to prevent associated gas flaring from Lab Sefid Oil Production plant, which is located 50 km, north east of Dezful, Iran. By commissioning this project, the existing Lab Sefid Oil Production plant will be extended and the following units/pipeline will be added:

• Sweetening of 17000 Standard Barrel per day of sour Lab Sefid / Palangan’s crude oil

Released gas from Lab Sefid Oil Production plant will be compressed in different stages after gathering and finally injected to the Lab Sefid well no.7. The maximum required injection rate is 27000 MMSCFD.
According to the fact that the amount of Lab Sefid oil field’s associated gas is less than that required for injection to Lab Sefid well no.7, Bangestan gas from well no.5 will be used as a supplementary source.

The purpose of NGL-2300 plant is to maximize the C2+ recovery. The feed gas for this plant is provided from:

• Separated gas from 1st stage of Maroon-Khami plant (156 MMSCFD)

• Produced gas from Maroon-5 production unit (82 MMSCFD)

In accordance with reservoir maintenance policy and in the light of maximum oil recovery from Kupal Oil Field, located in southwest of Iran, National Iranian South Oil Company (NISOC) has planed to execute design / engineering, construction, and commissioning of Kupal gas – injection project, which caters for injection of 300 MMSCFD gas with the pressure of 270 barg in to Kupal oil field – Asmary layer. The injection gas is supplied from Shahid Mohammadi compressor station through a feed transmission pipeline to Kupal gas – injection compressor station with delivered pressure of 54 barg. Currently there is one compressor station, which can handle only 150 MMSCFD capacity delivered at gas pipeline end- point. Under this scenario, it is required to design another gas compressor station capable of boosting the remaining 150 MMSCFD of gas at the end – point of the feed pipeline.
